Instructions
- Cook Bacon:
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until cooked, but not crispy. Drain on paper towels and let cool.
- Assemble Bites:
- Place a cube of cheddar on each bacon piece. Top with a small piece of diced green bell pepper. Wrap in bacon.
- Bread the Bites:
- Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dredge each cheddar and bacon bite in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with panko mixture.
- Fry the Bites:
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry breaded bites in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
