Instructions

  1. Cook Bacon:
    • Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until cooked, but not crispy. Drain on paper towels and let cool.
  2. Assemble Bites:
    • Place a cube of cheddar on each bacon piece. Top with a small piece of diced green bell pepper. Wrap in bacon.
  3. Bread the Bites:
    • Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt, garlic powder, and paprika.
    • Dredge each cheddar and bacon bite in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with panko mixture.
  4. Fry the Bites:
    • Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
    • Fry breaded bites in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    • Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
