Overview

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Order Assembler is responsible for preparing cheese orders for delivery. They are also responsible for verifying the accuracy of the products included in orders, based on customer requests.

YOUR RESONSIBILITIES

  • Process, prepare and check orders according to customer specifications;
  • Drive St-Albert forklift safely;
  • Prepare delivery notes and invoices;
  • Carry out various inventory movements;
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and use of inventory management software.
  • Wash, sanitize and maintain equipment as required;
  • Carry out all tasks and actions in a safe manner and in accordance with current quality standards (HACCP).
  • Comply with health and safety, sanitation, quality and production regulations;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Work experience in an equivalent position;
  • Valid class G driver’s license and impeccable driving record;
  • Ability to lift weights in excess of 20 kg;
  • Knowledge of chemical handling regulations;
  • Have a sense of responsibility and autonomy;
  • Demonstrate computer and mathematical skills;
  • Be versatile, flexible and reliable;
  • Meticulousness and attention to detail;
  • Be open-minded and able to adapt to change;
  • Certified forklift driver (an asset).

STATUS & SCHEDULE

Evenings and weekends on a rotation basis.* *Schedule can change to accommodate operational needs.
